Our story

Founder Chris Baume has worked at the forefront of audio technology for over 15 years. At the BBC, he co-led the audio research group where he used AI to develop tools for producing personalised and immersive listening experiences. He managed the BBC Audio Research Partnership, which sponsored over thirty students and launched ten collaborative projects worth £30M. He was co-investigator on the AI4ME project on personalised media, and the EU project ORPHEUS on object-based audio. He founded the annual conference Sounds Amazing in 2015, and was later an executive producer. He earned his PhD at the University of Surrey's renowned CVSSP research centre.
